Tim Foley

Timothy Brian Foley passed away at home on October 15, 2014 at the age of 38 after a brave battle with cancer.

A visitation will be held at Memorial Services of Iowa, 4208 North Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA on Saturday October 18th from 2 pm – 4 pm. A Service of Remembrance will immediately follow with Reverend Bobby Dickerson officiating.

Tim was born in Blue Island, Illinois on April 3, 1976. In 1994 He proudly graduated from Krejci Academy, Naperville, IL, a private school that serves children and adults with autism and developmental disabilities who fostered in Tim a sense of worth and nurtured an independent spirit that will never be extinguished. Tim was a happy gentle man who never allowed autism to dictate the way he lived. He loved to watch sports and was a diehard Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

Tim is survived by his mother, Vivianne Kaberna and Step-Father John J Kaberna; and his father, John T Foley, and his wife Donna Foley. Tim will be loved and forever remembered by his brothers who were also his best friends: Thomas, Nicholas and Jonathen, his sisters in Law Andrea Kocsis and Tara Gruber and his step brothers, John and Thomas Kaberna; and his step sisters, Sandra and Christine Kaberna. Tim loved to spend time and play with his nieces and nephews; Thomas, Michael, Hannah, Sawyer, Kimber, Landon, and Alexa. He will be lovingly remembered by his Uncle William and Aunt Bonnie Foley, his Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike Gregory, his aunt Maryann Pauritsch, his Aunt Patricia and Uncle Frank Dodaro, and his many cousins. Tim was predeceased by his Grandparents, William and Helen Foley, John and Ada Proom; his aunt Linda Foley and his uncle John Pauritsch.

The family would like to send their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Brian P Freeman and the amazing staff at Medical Oncology and Hematology Associates for treating of our son, Tim, with compassion and dignity. He knew and understood. To Angela Degeneffe and Suzanne McIntosh: thank-you. You truly are Angels of Mercy.
