Jack Crouch, 69, of Johnston died Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of heart failure following an injury. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 1 at Iles Funeral Homes-Westover Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 2 at Westover Chapel.
Jack Crouch, Jr. was born in Chariton, IA in 1945 to the late Jack and Helen Crouch and moved to Des Moines in 1969. He worked for the City of Des Moines for 37 years retiring as Public Works Street Maintenance Supervisor in 2006. He was also co-owner of Jack and Randy’s Southtown Tap for 13 years until they sold it in 2001.
Jack’s family includes his wife of 44 years, Sandi of Johnston; two daughters, Tiffany Hamilton-Woods (Louis Woods) and Kimberley Crouch; five grandchildren, Joshua Crouch, Kaelon and Centure Hamilton, Caulier Cason, and Corey Hamilton, Jr., whom Papa has now joined in heaven.
He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Jack enjoyed great times mingling with his many friends who loved him very much.
