What an exciting time to be a part of the Altoona community and the Altoona Chamber.
The Chamber has gained 40 new members since January. The Chamber is on a mission to encourage growth and create opportunity within Altoona. Three-hundred-and-sixty-eight businesses are now Chamber members of this growing community.
The Chamber is working every day to create opportunities for Chamber members to display their businesses, learn new skills and network. Oct. 16 is the ever-so-popular Taste of Altoona at Prairie Meadows. This event is open to the community and allows Chamber members to showcase their businesses. Please see the Chamber and community events listed below for more opportunities.
Altoona’s strong city staff, elected officials, Chamber, businesses and engaged community members continue to put Altoona on the map and make it the place to be.
Tourism is booming. More than 3 million people visited Altoona area attractions last year. Economic growth continues to impact the job market and bring jobs to Altoona. Our community continues to grow and evolve, providing our residents and visitors a great place to call home, do business and find entertainment.
