Annie Olson has been named Development and Donor Relations Manager for Hoyt Sherman Place. Olson’s responsibilities include directing and managing the development and donor relations activities through annual membership campaigns, corporate initiatives and special events.
Olson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Simpson College in May with a Major in History and a Minor in Political Science. While at Simpson, she spent a year working in the Development office where she communicated with donors and solicited gifts.
Her internships with National History Day and Organizing for America provided her with a strong background in recruiting and coordinating volunteers and planning and implementing events.
“We are thrilled to have Annie join our staff,” said Carol Pollock, Executive Director.
“Her enthusiasm, love of history and outstanding experience she gained through internships and working in the Development office at Simpson will be great assets to Hoyt Sherman Place.”
