Andrew F. Wolff, 89, of Johnston, Iowa, formerly of Amberg, WI, passed away on March 2, 2014 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born in Portland, Oregon on March 25, 1924; son of Otto and Bessie (Curtis) Wolff. He was united in marriage to Nancy Balmer on December 21, 2004. Andrew was an extremely hard worker throughout his life and had a wonderful sense of humor and was a great story teller. He had a strong faith in God and was always thankful for his salvation. He was a member of the Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Beecher, WI and attended Westchester Free Church in Des Moines, IA. Andrew enjoyed his yearly fishing and hunting trips to Canada. He loved his girls and family. He will be dearly missed.
Andrew is survived by his wife, Nancy; three children: Cindy Rousseau of Asheville, NC, Debbie Jean (Richard) Klamar of Brown Deer, WI, and Brenda Shelley of Menasha, WI; five step sons: Randall (Catharine) Balmer of VT, Kenneth (Bette) Balmer of NC, David (Anita) Balmer of WY, Brian (Vicki) Balmer of IA, and Mark (Charmaine) Balmer of IL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother Harold Wolff of TX; and four sisters: Emma Wontor of Amberg, WI, Leona Smith of MO, Norma Pavlowski of AZ, and Juanita (Tom) Horn of AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 56 years, Mardelle; two children: Linda and Julie; grandson, Norman Baker; and five siblings.
A visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Iles Westover Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:15 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Trinity Assembly of God Church in Crivitz, WI with visitation from 10-11:15 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Amberg Cemetery.
