Johnston Leadership Update

Posted January 27, 2014 in Community Web Exclusives, Johnston

The Johnston Community Schools play a key role in not only preparing our students for the future, but also in strengthening the very fabric of our community. People choose to live and work here, because of the quality of our schools. And businesses choose to locate and grow here, because it is attractive to talented and productive people. For this reason the next program in the Johnston Leadership Series will focus on the Johnston Community School District.

As a leader in the Johnston community there are many things you should know about our schools. They can’t all be covered in one session, but the next program in the Johnston Leadership Series will introduce you to some of our key school leadership. You’ll also learn about the strategic direction being planned for the future, and the manner in which technology is being used to improve educational performance.  Our presenters are:

  • Clay Guthmiller, Bruce Amendt, Tony Sparks and Ann Wiley

The program will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in the Johnston High School library.

The purpose of the Johnston Leadership program is to foster a strong community of people working together to make Johnston a great place to live and work. The program is open to all Johnston residents, people who work in Johnston, and of course the members of the Johnston Chamber of Commerce and the Johnston Economic Development Corporation.

Are you ready to be an engaged citizen of Johnston? Yes? Then plan to attend this next event!
