The Polk County Sheriff’s Office will hold a bicycle safety class at the library Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. – noon.
Ride your bike to the library for helmet fittings, bike inspections and a bicycle obstacle course. For all ages.
The library will be closed Sunday and Monday, May 26 and 27 for Memorial Day.
Summer Reading Program: Dig into Reading!
Summer reading registration for all ages will start on June 3. Stop in any time this week to register, get some books and a bag of goodies and start reading. This summer we’ll have programs for readers of all ages — babies to adults — so please join us. Stay tuned to the library’s website and Facebook page for programming schedules.

Move and Groove
Mondays, 6:30 p.m.
Come join Kelly for some music, singing, moving and grooving. For movement on the floor you may bring a towel or yoga mat. No registration necessary, and children younger than 5 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
Tuesdays, 11 a.m.
A time for babies 0 – 18 months and their caregivers to play and grow through songs, short stories, nursery rhymes and other developmental activities. No registration required.
