BEAR Country

libraryjpgBeginning on Jan. 2, come to the library to sign up for the BEAR program.

Be Excited About Reading is an annual program for ages preschool to 11. Just for signing up each child receives a polar bear finger puppet. And once the reading log is completed, each child gets a brand-new book. The program runs through February. Sign up soon.

The new library site is located on the city’s website at Click on city departments then click on “Library” to see what’s available.

Don’t forget the library has online access to E-books and audio available. WILBOR is an online site accessible through the library’s website. Access is available for Kindle users as well. For more information, call the library at 266-7815.

Notaries on staff
Two of the library staff are now notaries. This service is available free. Call ahead to make sure the staff notaries are available.

Story times
Story times are held on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10 and 10:30. Crafts are held every Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.

On Wednesdays, bring back any items that are overdue, including videos, and no fine will be charged.
