Candy Land Family Game: A Holiday Event

Get in the holiday spirit at Perry Library! Families are invited to participate in a special holiday storytime event, Thursday, December 6, at 6:30 p.m., in the library Community Room. We will feature a human-sized game of Candy Land. Visit Hershey Kiss Mountain, Taffy Swamp, and Candy Cane Forest, and have fun playing this traditional game in a new way! Dallas County Conservation Program: Snakes with Critter Cindy

Critter Cindy (Cindy Blobaum) from Dallas County Conservation will host a program at the Carnegie Library Museum, 1123 Willis Ave, Perry, on Thursday, December 13, at 6:30 p.m. – and it’s all about snakes! Cindy, author of Awesome Snake Science: 40 Activities for Learning About Snakes, will have several live snakes with her, and we will learn everything you want to know about these fascinating creatures. Families are invited and encouraged to attend this free and educational program. No registration is required.
