It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Clear Lake!

On November 30th through December 2, Clear Lake will be having its traditional Christmas by the Lake activities for the whole family.  It begins on Friday evening, at Opportunity Village for their annual Festival of Trees, with a gala, at Opportunity Village, for $20 per person. The Festival of Trees will continue Saturday, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m, with a Breakfast with Santa for the kids ($7 for adults and $4 for kids under 5 yrs old), and the craft activities for the children, and will end Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Trees are available for sale.

Other Christmas by the Lake activities include tons of activities for adults and kids of every age!  It will be capped Saturday evening at 5 p.m. with a Holiday parade and fireworks by the Lake.  On Sunday, the polar bear club will raise money for charity with a dip in the Lake.  For a complete listing of all of the numerous events, go to www.clearlakeiowa.com.

On Tuesday, December 4, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a special program hosted by the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce at the Best Western, entitled 50 Sales Tips in 60 minutes, facilitated by Scott Plum of the Minnesota Sales Institute. Finally, on Thursday, December 6, NIACC will present the American Art DVD Series, to be held at the Clear Lake Arts Center, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There is no charge.
