Make the Library Your One-Stop-Holiday-Shop

Posted November 28, 2012 in Community Blogs, Johnston

The holidays are just around the corner, and at Johnston Public Library we are busy making our lists of great seasonal  books, movies, and music to enhance your winter celebration, whether it is Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or the day after Christmas sale at the mall! Make Johnston Library your one stop shop for all things Holiday.

Holidays in Johnston
The kickoff for the season at the library begins with our annual Holidays in Johnston celebration on December 1st  from 2:30-4:30 pm. The party starts when Santa arrives on the Johnston Fire Department’s ladder truck and continues with Johnston High School Madrigal Singers and the Summit Middle School Flute Choir. Stick around for cookie decorating, the popular gingerbread house contest, stories, crafts, and much more.
