Mamie was born on August 8, 1917 to Joseph and Theresa (Berardi) Pirillo. She graduated from East High School and married Dominic Soda in 1937. Her first job was at Rollins Hosiery Mill. Later she and her husband, Dominic, worked together as home builders. She was also a realtor for Andrews Realty. Nana Doll was a very strong, loving, independent and practical woman.
