The Fort Dodge Friends of the Library have planned some wonderful programs for their October Brown Bag Briefings beginning Thursday, October 4 at noon in the Library Meeting Room. Here’s the line-up:
October 4 – “Winter Bird Feeding and Animal Habitat” with Karen Hansen, Naturalist for Webster County
October 11 – “What is Palliative Care” with Dr. Tim Ihrig
October 18 – “Parks and Recreation 101” with Ryan Maehl, Recreation Administrator for Fort Dodge Parks, Recreation and Forestry
October 25 – “You Collect WHAT?” with Pastor Al Henderson from St. Paul Lutheran Church.
The Friends provide beverages and you’re welcome to bring a sack lunch to eat during the program. The programs are free to attend.
If you have missed episodes of Big Bang Theory, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood or other popular TV series, the Fort Dodge Public Library purchases each season as they become available for patrons to check out. Maybe you’ll like to see complete past seasons in chronological order. Again, the Library has a great collection of TV serials available to check out.
Take advantage of the beautiful weather this week! Grab a book from the Library and sit outside to read!
