Just as the farmers have begun their fall harvest, the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce is also preparing our harvest involving membership renewals and new membership as well as filling any upcoming board of director and/or officer positions that will be vacated by those fulfilling their terms.
In the following months, our membership committee will be taking names of those interested in filling any open board of director positions. Are you one of those who may be considering it?
I can speak from personal experience that a price cannot be placed on the value of my membership because of the friends and/or clients I have acquired during my years serving on the board of directors and as an officer. The knowledge I have gained from my experience is something that will carry on with me through the rest of my life as well.
Are you a business owner looking for ways to expand your business? Are you a key employee of a business looking for more recognition? Or are you either of these looking for a way to give back and get more of your membership? Are you current member who has great ideas to share regarding additional benefits to our members? Any of these could be reasons for you to call Cathy Jensen, our executive director, to have your name put in the hat for consideration. You won’t regret it.
Look for your membership renewal packets by the end of October or early November, and get them in as soon as you can.
We are expanding
We are pleased to announce that we have hired a part-time assistant for our office and are very much looking forward to introducing her officially to you all soon.
Until next month… Grow. Play. Live.
