Happy autumn from Clear Lake.
This week, the Clear Lake Farmer’s Market will hold court on Saturdays, from 9-11 a.m. On Sunday, September 23rd at the Surf Ballroom, the Austin Big Band will play, with doors opening at 5:00 p.m., and dancing from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. On Monday, September, 24, the Clear Lake Concert Association will hold the first of four concerts, at the EB Stillman Auditorium (part of the Clear Lake Middle School), with the first concert featuring Jim Curring paying a tribute to the late, great John Denver and his music. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. and is open Association season pass holders. Finally, on September 30th, the Kinney Pioneer Museum will hold its annual Homemade Cider & Donut Day, from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Admission for adults is $3.00 and for children 12 and under, it is $1.00.
