Enter to Win a Kindle Fire

Posted September 19, 2012 in Community Featured

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and we are fired up at Kendall Young Library.

Everyone who checks out at least one item this month will get a candy treat and will be entered in our drawing to win a Kindle Fire. The drawing is open to cardholders of all ages. If you don’t have a Kendall Young library card, now is the perfect time to get one. Help us reach our goal of at least 200 new library cardholders this month.

Up-cycling craft series
We are starting a new series of craft programs designed to turn unused items into useful and decorative pieces. On Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m., join us to transform old books into festive Book Pumpkins, perfect for fall decorating. On Thursday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m., we will be making Ringlet T-shirt Scarves. All materials will be provided by the library and no pre-registration is necessary.
