The City of Clive, Clive Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Clive Public Arts Commission will host a dedication for 2016 Art Along the Trail Program Thursday, May 19. The event will be hosted at 515 Brewing Company at 7700 University in Clive beginning at 5:00pm.
A ceremony will take place at 5:30pm just next to the Brewery at the artwork of Hilde DeBruyne. Her piece entitled “Metamorphosis” is just one of nine artworks that are part of the temporary exhibit. Please RSVP at www.clivechamber.org.
The dedication will include comments from the Clive City Council, Clive Chamber of Commerce, the Clive Public Arts Advisory Commission and a number of the artists who have pieces displayed in the 2016 exhibit.

Nathan Pierce – “Long Shot” – Lakeshore Dr & Woodlands Pkwy Trail Access

Steven Huffman – “Portal #7” – Country Club Glen Park
Art Along the Trail is a temporary outdoor exhibit, displayed along Clive’s landmark feature, the Greenbelt Park and Trail system, from May through October each year, with 2016 being the fifth year of the exhibition. Works were selected by an Art Along the Trail Selection Panel earlier this year.
