Back to school

Posted August 19, 2015 in Community Featured, Downtown

September is library card sign-up month. What better time to get a library card than right when you’re preparing yourselves and your children to go back to school?

Sometimes, schoolwork causes stress. Des Moines Public Library has many online resources for kids, teens, and adults. If you or your children find yourselves up against a research paper deadline, remember that the Virtual Library at DMPL offers material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online resources include: World Book Encyclopedia, Biography in Context, EBSCO, and the Gale Virtual Reference Library.
