January 26, 2015 – Des Moines, Iowa – Trinity Promotions is doing it again, showcasing their new Combat Championship Series. This promotion is an event which fuses six boxing matches and six kickboxing matches with some of the best fighters in the state. This event is Saturday, February 21, at the Seven Flags Complex in Clive, Iowa.

Their first promotion in 2014 consisted of an amateur kickboxing show.  Not only did Trinity Promotions showcase superior striking, athleticism and showmanship for amateur fighters but are back with an even better combat fusion.

“First and foremost we are fans of ALL combat sports and after hearing feedback from fans and friends, we mixed things up for the upcoming show,” says, owner of SK Martial Arts Leslee Kelly.  “There are several different surprises for our fans and one we will share is seven times Iowa Golden Gloves State Boxing Champion DeAndre Harris will be boxing a former lightweight champion for TCF and Extreme challenge, Jorge Serrano at 155lbs. This will be an exciting matchup as both fighters have solid amateur careers and numerous championship titles. What’s even better about all the work that goes into these shows is the support we get and give back to our community.”

Supporting the community is a value of all the business partners of Trinity Promotions.  Their first show supported a youth family services foundation and the February 21 event will support the SE Des Moines Boxing Club. SE Des Moines Boxing Club, a pillar in the community, is one of two non-profit boxing clubs left in the Des Moines.  Club owner, Jerry Holman offers the community a safe environment where kids can participate in a sport, but teaches principles of integrity, honesty, respect.

“This is what our Combat family is all about!  We create a network of great people that might not have ever met and bring attention to businesses and organizations that just need a little word of mouth TLC,” says Rebecca Casey, co-owner of Trinity Promotions. “Come out with your families and have a great time supporting a whole lot of local talent!”

Doors open at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $15 for general admission, $25 reserved, $35 (second row), $45 for ringside, and $300 for a VIP table (seats eight).  Tickets are available at  The Seven Flags Complex is located at 2100 NW 100th Street, Clive, Iowa.
