Traveling Exhibit

The library currently is hosting a traveling exhibit in our display case. The History of the Book has examples of different forms of the book through the ages. Stop in and see this great display through February 10th!

Looking for some good books at a great price? We have them! Paperbacks are 50 cents and hardcover books sell for $1.00 each. Videotapes for 50 cents and DVDs for $2 are also usually for sale. See what great bargains are available!

The library’s new self-check kiosk is being operational. You will need a new card in order to operate the kiosk. Stop in soon and try it out, it’s fun!

Online magazines are now available! Pleasant Hill is now part of a consortium, Central Iowa MagNet, which has access to more than 60 magazines anytime, anywhere. Go to the library’s website at http://pleasanthilliowa.org for a link to the MagNet site. You will need the access code in order to set up an account. Contact the library to obtain the code.

Don’t forget the library has online access to E-books and audio available! WILBOR is an online site accessible through the library’s website.  Access is available for Kindle users as well! For more information, call the library at 266-7815.

 

Two of the library staff are notaries. This service is available free. Call ahead to make sure of the staff notaries is available.

 

STORY TIMES

Story times are held on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at 10:30 only. Crafts are held every Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.

Toddler Times are held on every Tuesday at 10 am!
