Roger D. Colyn

Funeral services celebrating Roger’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at Iles Grandview Park Chapel with interment following at Lowman Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 at the funeral home.

Roger was born in Des Moines, Iowa on January 27, 1953 to Glen and Marjorie Colyn. He retired from Cargill, Inc. after 40 years of service. He enjoyed deer hunting, watching his nephew and nieces play ball, watching Packers football and family dinners at “Mom’s” house.

Roger will be missed by the multitude of family who all loved him very much, including his mother Marjorie Colyn; brother Randy (Gay) Colyn; nephews Mike Colyn and Trenton Tharp; and nieces Lyndsey Roe and Alivia Sly.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Glen Colyn and brother Michael Colyn.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Rescue League in Roger’s name.
