Want a remedy for the Winter Blues? Join us for Season of Story at Beaverdale Books on Beaver Ave January 22nd , at 7:00 PM and tell a story, or just listen, during the first in a series of four storytelling events based on the ancient tradition of telling stories during the cold winter months.

People are invited to gather and tell a five minute story on the same subject. In January the topic is sledding. All tellers will be judged by a panel of three judges. First prize winner will receive $75.00, second prize $50.00 and third $25.00. All winners will receive two free tickets to the February 26th event.

This incredible program offers the chance to learn about others through story and humor, will teach others how to build a story, and learn about the history of storytelling in many cultures.

The season will run January 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, February 26th, with the topic of Love Story, March 26th with the topic of Spring Break, and April 23rd with the topic of Babies.

Wine, soda and cookies are complimentary to ticketed audience members.  Admission is five dollars for each event or $18.00 for the season.
