Coach OC’s comments: Gutty win by the kids. Battles through lots of adversity tonight in our first road game. Kids did a great job hanging together and it paid off for them. Thought Nick McMurray had a great game on both ends of the floor. Did a great job defensively in the 2nd half on Egger. Thought Ted Brown and Cole Scieszinski both had tremendous games as well. Both made some huge plays.
On January 2nd the Maroons traveled to Marshalltown to take on the Bobcats for the first game after the Christmas break. The Maroons won by the score of 56-34. Coach OC’s comments: Great effort by the kids tonight. I thought our team defense and rebounding were tremendous. Been nice to get all of the kids some action in our last couple of games. They need to have their hard work rewarded. Thought Ted Brown really made his presence felt tonight. Thought Tj and Nick ability to handle pressure and multiple defensive looks from MC was also vital. Things will be much tougher going forward.
