Norene Graham, age 53, of 314 Crawford Street, died January 2, 2015, at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. She has been cremated.
Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, from 2 until 8 p.m. where the family will be present after 6 p.m. A short Memorial Service will be at 7 p.m.
Norene Kay Graham was born in Boone, Iowa, on March 11, 1961, the daughter of Earl and Opal (Fairchild) Tilley.
She graduated from Boone High School in 1979.
Norene married Ronald Graham in Boone on February 11, 1984.
She graduated from Boone DMACC in 2004 and Norene worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at the Eastern Star Masonic Home and later at The Rose of Ames.
Norene enjoyed cross stitch, word search puzzles, shopping, garage sales, baking, especially deserts, manicures, and buying purses.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law Patricia Graham, and several aunts and uncles.
Norene is survived by her husband Ron of Boone; a son Joe Graham of Peoria, Illinois; a daughter Danielle King and husband Andrew of Boone; two brothers Tom Tilley and wife Jean, and Jeff Tilley, all of Boone; two sisters, Sue Tolan and husband Dave of Boone and Karen Richey and husband Nile of Stratford; an aunt Arlys Westrum of Stratford; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In memory of Norene, memorials may be directed to the family.
