Stars Program at Perry Library

In January, we will look to the night skies at a program presented by Dallas County Conservation called Stars, on Monday, January 12, at 6:30 p.m., in the Large Meeting Room. We will learn about stars and constellations we can see during our Iowa winter. Everyone is invited to attend; no registration is needed!


Quarterly Classics Book Club January Meeting

The January meeting of the Quarterly Classics Book Club will be Tuesday, January 13, at 7:00 p.m., at the Carnegie Library Museum. The group will discuss The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway. Paperback copies of the book are available to purchase or to check out at the library, or participants may bring their own copies. Anyone is welcome to attend any of the quarterly discussions. Discussion facilitator is Perry Librarian Jill Cook.


Friends of the Library January Book Sale

The Friends of the Perry Library will hold their January book sale, Thursday through Saturday, January 15-17, in the library Large Meeting Room.  The Friends will have an assortment of books for all ages, as well as music, movies, audio books, and more. All proceeds from the Friends book sales directly impact the programs and services offered at the library throughout the year. We appreciate your support of our book sales! The hours for the sale are as follows: Thursday, January 15, from
Friday, January 16, from 10:00-4:00; Saturday, January 17, from10:00-2:00. Don’t miss it!
