Happy New Year from the Perry Area Chamber!
I hope the Holidays found everyone well and that the New Year is full of joy and prosperity. 2014 was a great year for the Chamber and we are going to build on this success for 2015. Our Chamber is full of generous businesses that allow us to promote our community the best we can! Without your generosity we would not be able to host the events that make Perry such a great place to live, work and play! As the Director my number one goal for 2015 is to increase the value of your Chamber membership with everything we do. Your membership and support are invaluable! We will be rolling out a number of new programs and strategies for the upcoming year that will increase your membership and continue to promote the Perry business community.
38th Annual BRR will be held on Feb. 7th
It’s time to dust of the bikes and get ready to RIDE!!! The 38th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey will be on February 7th. BRR Central/Registration will be located at the Hotel Pattee again this year. The Lion’s Club will get the tires rolling in the morning with breakfast in the Grand Ballroom. Rippey will host a beer tent to keep riders out of the weather for a bit before they return to Perry to celebrate all that downtown has to offer. Various bars, restaurants and retailers will be having specials for locals and riders that day so make sure to come out! BRR is a great way to showcase what Perry has to offer! To register go to www.bikeiowa.com. Remember this is the largest fundraiser for the Chamber and it helps set the tone for the rest of the year!
NEW THIS YEAR- Post BRR Ride at La Poste! Stop into La Poste for a soup supper, live music, warm drinks and a GREAT TIME!!! Starting around 4 and going until 9 the Raccoon River Boys will be playing tunes. This is open to EVERYONE! Even if you didn’t ride stop in and enjoy the festivities.
