Johnston. He retired as a salesman from Loffredo Produce in 2010. He enjoyed music, NASCAR, and sports. He loved his family and supported his children and grandchildren in all their activities. He was a devoted follower of Jesus and faithful member of New Hope Assembly of God. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years JoAnn; son Tim (Deb); daughter Tracey (Kelley) Orman; grandchildren, Cory (Michelle), Emma, Ben, Jessica, and Nate; sisters, Wanda Godwin, Marlys Bixby, and Sharon (Bob) McGraw. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Darlene (Loren) Wacht and brother in law Earl Godwin. Visitation will be held at Iles Westover Chapel, WEDNESDAY, December 10 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Celebration of Life service will be FRIDAY, December 12 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Assembly of God, 4425 – 70th Street, Urbandale.
