Time flies when you’re having fun. The last few months have rocketed by for us at the Chamber. It was just a few short months ago we began talking about our upcoming summer events, namely Chill on the Hill, the annual golf outing and Family Fun Fest. Luckily, we had great templates in place for those events. Thinking that this already looked like a great summer plan, we were honored to find out that we were being considered for another great summer event — Jazz in July. Amazingly, we were able to work it in to our weekend with Family Fun Fest, making it a part of an already great weekend and great event for our community.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank a whole bunch of people, starting with the Chamber. I could not be more proud of the volunteers and organizational staff of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce. I have had quite a few people tell me what a great job the Chamber has done this year, and I can only say that it is the volunteers and staff who make our Chamber events possible.
A big thank you to our sponsors. They have all really stepped up to the plate to provide a summer’s worth of entertainment for all of us. I would like to ask all of you to remember, when the opportunity arises, to please use the businesses that helped with our summer events and shop locally first. By keeping your money in the area, these businesses will be able to give back to the community through events like we’ve enjoyed this summer.
