Posted August 06, 2014 in Adel, Community Featured

The Sweet Corn Festival is almost here, and that means it is time for our annual Friends of the Library Book Sale here at the Adel Library.

The pre-sale, for Friends of the Adel Public Library, will be Friday, Aug. 8 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., while the book sale is open for the public on Saturday, Aug. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Want to get in early? Anyone can join the friends of the Adel Public Library for $5. We have lots of wonderful books this year. The sale will be in our community room, and the library will be closed on Saturday, August 9th during the sale and festival.

Our next Garage Sale of the summer is Friday, August 30th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday August 31st from 10:00 am to noon. All proceeds from the monthly garage sales are used by the Friends of the Adel Public Library Foundation for special projects and programs at the library.
