• Learning Express. Think of Learning Express as your free online tutor. This site will help you prepare for almost any standardized test including ACT, ASVAB, civil service, cosmetology, real estate, EMS, GED, GMAT, GRE, SAT, TOEFL, citizenship and more. Test preparation includes immediate scoring of more than 770 practice tests, complete answer explanations and online tutorials. It also includes skill building for all ages — elementary school-age through adults — as well as job search resources and computer and Internet basics. Research databases like EbscoHost and Student Research Center are wonderful places to find answers to difficult questions. EbscoHost is also useful for finding articles from scholarly journals, magazines and newspapers on virtually any topic. Stop by the Reference Desk the next time you are at the library for a one-on-one tutorial of these databases.
