Kenneth D. Avery Jr., 73, died on July 25, 2014, at Bright Kavanagh house in Des Moines.
Private services are planned for the family with cremation to follow.
Kenneth was born in Des Moines on August 6, 1940 to Kenneth D. Avery Sr., & Lena Lucille (Snyder).
Kenneth was a lifetime resident of Des Moines, and worked in the tree business for many years.
Kenneth is survived by his children Kenneth Avery lll, Lora (Donald) Wyckoff, Jim Avery, Kim (Sweepea) Avery, and Lisa Hobbs. Three sisters Donna Mae Spencer, Jackie (Paul) Flohrs, and Connie (Don) Martindale, one brother William J. McCann; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
