Des Moines, IA – June 29, 2014 – The on-site jury of the 2014 Des Moines Arts Festival® presented awards to 10 visual artists at an awards ceremony held this morning at Centro Restaurant in downtown Des Moines.  Mixed Media artist Dylan Strzynski was awarded Best of Show and Sodam Lee was named Best of Emerging Iowa Artists.

Dylan Strzynski puts a new perspective on common scenes that uses stunning colors projected onto unusual perspectives. The colors are subtle, the details are subtle and humor is delicately laced throughout the works.
