Jon Parrott, 45, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at his home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Cemetery in Cumming, Iowa.
Jon was born March 7, 1969 in Des Moines, Iowa the son of Austin and Teresa (Cline) Parrott. He was a lifelong West Des Moines resident.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Sue Horn of Adel, Iowa; father, Austin Parrott Sr. and brother, Austin Parrott Jr., both of West Des Moines; sister, Susan Parrott of Des Moines; niece, Cassandra Ann Parrott of Panora, Iowa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon was preceded in death by his mother and his sister, Barbara Parrott.
