December 5, 1934 – June 4, 2014

Olive Stehlik, 79, of Ankeny, went home to be with her Lord, June 4, 2014 from Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

According to her wishes, her body has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m., June 14 at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home (4208 N. Ankeny Blvd.).

Olive was born December 5, 1934 in Danbury, Iowa. She married Francis Stehlik March 5, 1955, and moved from western Iowa to Ankeny in 1966.

Olive worked for E.L. View Construction in Ankeny for 14 years, and was the church secretary for 19 years at Union Park Baptist Church.

She enjoyed her family, sewing, and quilting with the church quilting group.

Olive and Francis celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary March 5, 2014.

She is survived by her husband Francis; daughters, Michelle (Kevin) of North Pole, AK, Sharon of Dallas, TX, Lori (Terry) of Reasnor, IA, 6 grandchildren, and a brother-in-law Wesley Stehlik of Vail, IA.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice in Johnston, or Union Park Baptist Church.
