Sharon Bragg
Sharon passed away peacefully on May 23 with family by her side.
Sharon was born to Robert and Clara Webster on October 3, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa. She met and later married John C. Williams, Sr. on September 11, 1959. From this union the amazing children they produced are: John Williams, Jr. of Urbandale, Chris (Paula) Williams of Ankeny, Kenny (Joni) Williams of Nevada, Craig (Jodi) Williams of Colorado Springs, Kevin Williams of Des Moines, Sharlynn (Clifford) Watkins of Ankeny, Michael Williams of Ankeny, Stephanie Williams (Lloyd Blackwell) of Des Moines, and Kyle Niday (Laura); 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sharon was united in marriage with Rickey Bragg on May 25, 1990 and he preceded her in death.
Sharon dedicated her life to her family and to the numerous patients and families she cared for during her nursing career in long term care. Her loving support and humor will surely be missed by all.
Sharon loved reading and traveling. She liked taste testing and exploring new recipes.
A memorial visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, May 27 at Brooks Funeral Care in Clive. Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
