As the old Beatle, George Harrison, said in one of his most famous songs: “It’s been a long, cold, lonely Winter. Little darlin’, it feels like years since it’s been here. Here comes the sun. Here comes the sun, and I say, it’s all right.”
Those of us in Iowa would go a lot further and say: “It’s about time spring got here! What took you so long?” Let’s all celebrate the arrival of spring with some fun activities and programs at the Altoona Public Library and bid Old Man Winter a farewell.
