The members of Radiant Church are reading their way through the New Testament

The people of Radiant Church have endeavored to read through the entire New Testament in 40 days this spring. There is no better tool or resource for personal spiritual development, than by reading scripture — especially the stories about Jesus and the early church. These stories are not just history, but about power, mercy and grace of a living God. The New Testament is also full of stories about lives being changed. When someone recognizes the power of God and enters into a personal relationship with God, his or her life is forever transformed. Regardless of where you’ve been or what you’ve done in your past, or what you have struggled with along the way, God’s love is for you.

jon-mugThis world is full of hurt and pain. You can see it everywhere. Last fall, Radiant launched a new recovery ministry at its East 26th Street Campus in Des Moines, called Celebrate Recovery. Every Monday night, this second campus (located near the intersection of University Avenue and East 26th Street) is opened up to the public to provide those with hurts, habits and hang-ups with the opportunity and resources to find healing. In addition to reconciliation and healing, Celebrate Recovery is a great opportunity for people with all sorts of struggles to make new friends and to find hope in the midst of hurt and heartache by sharing with those with similar issues in a group setting. This new endeavor for Radiant Church is just one of the ways it seeks to fulfill its vision: to help people find their way back to God.

Journey with us! The doors at Radiant Church are open, and anyone who desires to grow closer to God is invited to experience life transformation with a group of people whose passion and purpose is to connect people with God in a casual and authentic environment. A place where people are encouraged to come as they are, heart broken or put-together, to learn about God through Sunday morning worship, small groups and one-on-one mentoring.
