The Bondurant Community Library is led by the Bondurant Community Library Board of Trustees. This dedicated seven-person board is strictly volunteer, and members serve for six-year terms.
According the City of Bondurant ordinance establishing the library board, it consists of six resident members and one non-resident rural representative member. The board meets on a monthly basis, the first Wednesday of every month, at 7 p.m. at the library’s community room and addresses policies for the library, the approval of expenses, budgets, updates from staff and the library director, as well as any needs the library may have. This great group of volunteers is responsible for the wonderful library the community enjoys and has today. All of their meetings are open meetings, and everyone is welcome to attend. The current board of library trustees is Craig Campbell, Mary Thomas, Patricia Kaura, Craig Kinrade, Josh Bryant, Michell Klinker-Feld, and the rural representative is Amanda Pitts. If you happen to see any one of these volunteers, please thank them for their service to the City of Bondurant.
