Karate Workshop at Fuller Hall

Sensei Maria Lopez, the karate instructor at Fuller Hall, will be hosting her master teacher, Kaicho Tim Snyder for a Karate Workshop on Saturday, March 29 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Fuller Hall gym.  The workshop is designed for beginners who have never done martial arts, individuals who practice other styles, as well as current students.  The two hour session will consist of a basic introduction into this system of karate, personal practical self-defense and a brief history of this style.

Kaicho Tim Snyder is the president of the Okinawa Koburyu Kobukai in the United States and is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.  Kaicho Snyder has been practicing karate for 46 years and has a passion for changing people’s lives through martial arts.  He earned his 9th degree black belt in Okinawa, Japan and his teacher in Japan is the highest ranking black belt in the organization.
