Kids Programs in March at Johnston Public Library

March is full of good things…warmer temperatures, spring break and lots of great programs for kids, tweens and teens at Johnston Public Library. Mark your calendar for these great programs coming up in the next couple weeks:

YouTube Partycartton kids site
Tuesday, March 11 at 5:00pm
Tweens and teens, share your favorite YouTube videos on the big screen. Send a link with your video pick to young@johnstonlibrary.com by March 9. Then come eat pizza, vote for your favorite video and win prizes. Call 515-278-5233 to register.

Early-Out Book Club
Wednesday, March 12 at 3:30pm
Kids in grades 3-5 are invited to this kid-centric book club on the second Wednesday of each month for books, food, friends and fun! Please call the library at 515-278-5233 for more info or to register.

Divergent Party
Friday, March 14 at 12:30pm
Get ready for the release of the movie at JPL’s Divergent Party. Celebrate with other fans, find your Faction, eat food inspired by the books and win prizes. For grades 6 and up; registration required. Call 515-278-5233 to reserve your spot beginning March 7.

St. Patrick’s Day Party
Monday, March 17 at 1:30pm
Wear your green and celebrate at the library with a pot of gold treasure hunt, Irish dancing, craft, shamrock shakes, and more. For grades K-4; call the Johnston Public Library to register beginning March 10.
