DES MOINES, IOWA – February 19, 2014 – Four area business leaders have been named to the Board of Directors of the Des Moines West Side Chamber of Commerce.

Joining the board are Matt Coen of Walker, Coen, Lorentzen Architects, as Ingersoll Business Committee chair; Ken Fritz of Wesley Life as events chair; and board members at large Shannon Cofield, Drake University, and Trisha McFadden, Massage Heights.

The board is led by executive committee members Jean Jones, Jones & Associates, president; Kevin Pokorny, Pokorny Consulting, vice president; Sue Huppert, Des Moines University, secretary; and Dave Dykstra, VALIC Financial Advisors, treasurer.

The Des Moines West Side Chamber of Commerce exists to advance the economic, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the west side of Des Moines.
