Terri Friday is 27 years old. Terri has been married to Nick for 8 years and has a 6 year old daughter Isabel. Nick served 2 tours in the Army; one tour in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. In June 2012, Terri was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. In November 2012, Terri had a defibrillator/pacemaker implanted. In July of 2013 Terri was required by her cardiologist team to quit working for health reasons. In January 2014, Terri was officially listed on the Heart Transplant list. It is likely that Terri will need to have an LVAD (artificial heart) placed before a donor heart becomes available. Terri has spent the last several months with many visits to the ER and several extended hospital stays to treat congestive heart failure and pneumonia, just to name a few conditions. With many visits to the hospital and physical restrictions, Nick has had to limit his work hours to help at home and care for Isabel. Terri, Nick and Isabel face emotional as well as financial hardships at this time. Family and friends are currently organizing events and fundraisers for the Friday family to help assist them with their financial needs. Please help us assist this family in their time of need.
