Jefferson Tree Committee Invites Tree Lovers for Lunch

Posted February 11, 2014 in Community Web Exclusives, Greene County

Are you interested in the trees in Jefferson?  If so, please come to the Greene County Extension meeting room at noon and have a sandwich with us on Friday, February 21st.  We want to meet people who love trees and might consider being part of our group.  Please come and share lunch with us.

The Jefferson Tree Committee meets monthly in the meeting room of the Greene County Extension building at 104 W. Washington.  Our short meetings last no more than an hour.

We will plant trees in Jefferson again this spring and will discuss species and locations.  We are also planning a survey of Jefferson trees so we are better prepared when the nasty ash beetle arrives in our fair city.

Please call the Extension Office at 386-2138 and tell them you plan to attend so we know how many sandwiches to order.
