Des Moines, Iowa: The Des Moines Leadership Network is pleased to announce its February luncheon program – Stephen M. King, Executive Director of the Des Moines Arts Festival. The Des Moines Arts Festival traces its beginnings to 1958 when the Des Moines Art Center hosted its inaugural Art in the Park on the grounds of Des Moines’ fine art museum. Join Leadership Network on Thursday, February 20 as King shares the history, the significant changes over the years and the success of the Des Moines Arts Festival.
The luncheon will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the Des Moines Embassy Club at the Ruan Center, 7th and Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Networking to start at 11:30, with lunch and program at noon. $20 for members, $25 for non-members — cash, check, or credit card accepted at the door.

Leadership Network has had a presence in and ties to the Des Moines area for more than 70 years. Its mission is to enhance community knowledge and involvement by promoting personal and professional development for leaders of Central Iowa through networking, educational and social opportunities. In addition to focusing on community and leadership, Leadership Network annually awards a scholarship to a deserving student at AIB College of Business in Des Moines.
