Warmer weather projects

Posted January 29, 2014 in Community Blogs, Grimes

The Holidays are behind us, we are all thinking about warmer weather and Spring!

City of Grimes (Library) (2)Now is the time to start planning the garden layout, landscaping plans, plans for the new deck you have been pondering, what flowers to plant where, or even the new playhouse for the kids!

The library has several books that will help guide you on your way.  Browsing the Internet for ideas is a fantastic research opportunity, but sometimes can be quite overwhelming!  Start with a book in the hand, get your basic ideas going, then reach out to the Internet for more specific ideas.  A good non-fiction how to book can be the best outline to help you get started on your project.

Online Magazines are also a great way to get started on that project.  A list of our online magazines is listed here.
