June 26, 1922 – December 23, 2013

Dora Livingston was born June 26, 1922 to Homer Floyd and Lorena (White) Griffith in rural Cambridge, Iowa. She married Claire Livingston on June 5, 1940. Dora worked as a bookkeeper and lived in Ames for 50 years. She served as a board member of the Calvary Church and was a member of the Warren Star chapter of the Eastern Star of Keytesville, Missouri.

Dora passed away December 23, 2013.

Dora is survived by her daughter, Fay (Richard) Bauer of Cincinnati, Ohio; her sons, Lee (Gale) Livingston of Ames, Rex (Bonnie) Livingston of Union, Kentucky and Alan (Mary Lou) Livingston of Captain Cook, Hawaii; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband; one brother; and three sisters, including her twin, Doris (Donald) Riggs of Ames.

Memorials may be designated to Calvary United Methodist Church, 1403 24th Street, Ames, Iowa 50010.
