If you are a fan of Michael Connelly’s Mickey Haller and enjoyed “The Lincoln Lawyer,” “The Gods of Guilt” is just for you. Haller, a criminal defense lawyer who works mostly from the backseat of a chauffeured Lincoln Town Car, is defending a high-tech pimp accused of killing one of his “girls,” who happens to be a former friend of Mickey’s. The blending of both legal drama and mystery will have you guessing and flipping pages till the wee hours of the morning. The story inside the courtroom will have you feeling like you’re sitting right there. A superb, great plot, and you won’t want to put it down.
Bestselling author Dean Koontz has done it again. “Innocence” is out now, and as stated by many fans, this book combines elements of some of his best books like “Odd Thomas,” “Fear Nothing” and “Tick Tock” into one amazing story that will completely blow you away with the ending. The plot twists he tosses into one of the last chapters has fans turning pages back to see where the clues had been all along but they had missed the whole time.
Holidays are the perfect time to catch up with friends on what they’re reading and what their favorite book this year was. Enjoy the holiday season, take time to read, and don’t forget to share your favorites.
