Please remember to support Adel’s locally owned businesses during the 2013 holiday season. Whether you are looking for the perfect hostess gift, new appliances for holiday baking, someone to cater a holiday celebration, or a way to shed a few pounds come Jan. 1, Chamber businesses can help make the 2013 holiday season the best yet.
Holiday Open House
Make sure to mark your calendar for the 19th Annual Adel Holiday Open House on Friday, Dec. 6. This year’s theme is “Peppermint Twist.” The open house runs from 5 – 7 p.m. with recipe cards and samples at Chamber businesses, civic organizations and churches, starting at Sumpter Pharmacy and Wellness.
The Adel Library will be hosting a variety of children’s activities during the open house, including visits with Santa, face painting with Mrs. Claus and balloons with Santa’s elf. Storefronts throughout Adel will be decorated for the holidays as part of the ninth Annual Storefront Decorating Contest. Strolling carolers will get everyone in the holiday spirit. The event concludes with the seventh Annual Lighted Parade at 7:15 pm.
We hope to see you there.
Family and individual memberships
The Chamber isn’t just for businesses; we also have individual and family members. Joining the Chamber helps support community events, including the Free Friday Concert Series, All Iowa Wine Festival, Sweet Corn Festival and Holiday Open House. It also supports larger community betterment projects, which have included the Community Stage and holiday lights in recent years. We are always looking for new ways to support the Adel community and hope that you will join us for 2014.
