Connie Lynn Worrick, daughter of Bernard and Gertrude Worrick, was born February 10, 1954 at Webster City, Iowa. Connie passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Connie graduated from Webster City High School. She married Rodney Claude April 16, 1975 at First Baptist Church at Webster City. They resided in Webster City until 1982, when they moved to Dewitt, Iowa in 1982. They returned to Stanhope on Sept 1, 2013 to reside with her sister Joan, after Rodney retired from the United States Postal Service. Connie worked as a CNA at Southfield Care Center, Webster City, for 13 years and for Amber Ridge Assisted Living, Dewitt, for 10 years. On June 25, 1988, they became the proud parents of a son, Travis John Worrick (Arkansas). Connie was a kind and loving person who loved caring for others. Her passion was her husband and son. She loved babies and children. She is be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Connie is survived in life by her husband, Rodney; son, Travis (Arkansas); sister, Joan (Richard) Hadaway of Stanhope, sisters- in-law, Susan (Robert) Worrick of Dewitt; Charlene (Howard) Worrick and Joyce (Dwight) Middleton, all of Webster City; Karen (Dan) Strodtman of Ames; brothers-in-law, Roger Claude of Ogden, Brent (Brooke) Frana of Johnston, Brad (Debbie) Frana of Fort Dodge; and several nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, mother-in-law and father-in-law; sisters, Irene (in infancy); Louise Strebel; brother-in-law, David Strebel; brothers, Herbert, Robert and Howard Worrick.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 in the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Chad Halbach, officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.
