Beulah Baldus, age 73, of 1422–14th Street, died October 30, 2013, at her home.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 4, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the Central Christian Church with Rev. Gary Sneller officiating. Burial will be in the Bass Point Cemetery, rural Boone.

Beulah was born in Boone on April 10, 1940, the daughter of Marvin and Lois (Bentley) Walters.

She attended grade school in Mackey and Jordan and high school in Boone.

On May 27, 1955, she married Richard Stone Jr. in Madrid, Iowa. Richard died in 2001.

On February 12, 2005, Beulah married Maurice Baldus at the Central Christian Church.

For over 25 years, Beulah was employed at Iowa State University as a facilitator.

She was a Lady of the Moose and a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

Beulah enjoyed camping, shopping, collecting angel figurines, trips to Branson, and wintering at El Paso, Texas.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Richard, a sister Nancy Rehbehn, and two brothers Melvin and Marvin Walters.

Beulah is survived by her husband Maurice of Boone; two sons Randy Stone and wife Brenda, and Rodney Stone, all of Boone; a daughter Debbie Stone of Boone; nine grandchildren; 20 step grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; a brother Morris Walters and wife Joyce of Pilot Mound; a step brother Bill Chambers and wife Jeanette of Humboldt; and a brother-in-law Paul Rehbehn of St. George, Utah.

Friends may call at the Schroeder Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall on Sunday from 2 until 8 p.m. where the family will be present from 6 until 8 p.m. On Monday, friends may call at the Church from 9:30 a.m. till service time.

In memory of Beulah, memorials may be directed to the family.
